Mortgage Professionals Canada Foundation offers financial assistance (e.g. scholarships) to students demonstrating promise or achievement in fields of study relating to real estate and real estate finance.

The Foundation enters into a donor or gift agreement with Canadian educational/training institutions which governs the use of the Foundation’s scholarship funds at that institution.

Real Estate Finance Papers Award

Mortgage Professionals Canada Foundation also provides the Real Estate Finance Papers Award for outstanding graduate and student papers related to real estate finance. The range of possible topics for these papers is broad, provided the research includes direct and/or indirect implications for the Canadian real estate and mortgage markets (including related capital markets products). Awards will be provided in each of the following categories of papers: Doctoral dissertation, Master’s thesis, and undergraduate research papers.
